My son Casey left this morning to head back to Tucson:( Jourdyn and Lil’ are back in school as of today. I’m back in my studio and getting all my “end of the year” books done.
It was a great two weeks off and now we’re back to our daily routines. It’s always nice to have time off with the family but then it’s nice to get back to your routine. We were all staying up late and sleeping in…. felt good and boy was it hard to get up when my alarm went off at 5:30 am!
My son’s school hours changed so my studio hours are going to change too. I pick him up from school now at 2:25 so I won’t be scheduling any shoots from 2:00 pm to 3:30pm.
My appointment times will be from 9 am to 1pm and 3:30 to 7pm - I’m not always in my studio so please give me a call if you are planning to stop in

Wow I can’t believe it’s going to be 2009! My son Casey is a Junior this year at U of A and my daughter Jourdyn is graduating high shchool. Where does the time go?
My family and I just got back from Brian Head and we are ready to ring in the New Year tonight! I hope everyone has a Happy and safe New Years!

Hope everyone had a great Christmas! The day after Christmas my husband and I took the kids to Brian Head for a few days.
We are having such a great time. Lots of snow and the weather is great! I know there are a few of you that had some photos taken right before Christmas and I will have them posted for you this coming week.

Most of you now that I don’t like taking my “GOOD” camera on vacations but I do to get great shots. Well for Christmas my hubby got me a small camera that fits in my pocket and that takes great pix! It’s a Sony Cyber-Shot…. love it and no more taking my “GOOD” camera on vacations .

Christmas is in two days! Got all my shoppin done, wrapped and under the tree! Meeting some clients today at two to pick up the last bit of Xmas photos and then I am off to relax with my kids and hubby.

I will be back in my studio Jan 5th.

This is a photos of my Christmas tree. The little red elf you see is Zurf. He has been with us the last two years and we love when he shows up right after Thanksgiving. Yep he shows up and sits himself on a ledge, our tree, mantel, a present and sometimes we find him hanging off of a ceiling fan. He flies back to the North Pole every night to report to Santa ( well Zurf is a little lazy this year, he sometimes stays in the same spot for a few nights ) and then when he arrives back to our house he will sit in a different spot. We wake up every morning to see where he’s at.

Two weeks left until Christmas!! I can’t believe it!

It’s been a little crazy for me but I had such a great time photographing the families this year. A little note for next year for those of you that couldn’t get in to me….. please remember for next year to try to schedule your family Christmas photos in the months of Sept, Oct and Nov

The long weekend is almost over I’ve had the best time with friends and family and I don’t want it to end. My older son Casey heads back to school to Tucson tomorrow. I’m going to be sad to see him leave. I miss having him around every day but I know they got to grow up and move on.
