It is hard to talk about oneself.... however here is a little bit about me...

For as long as I can remember I have always been the "family picture taker". I have always been drawn to black and white portraits and the spontaneity candid photos offer. I prefer this creative and personal touch over the everyday "look at the camera and say cheese" shots. My family will tell you that even as a child I had a "vivid" imagination, so as an adult, I've now found a career that allows me to put that creative energy to good use with imaginative, spontaneous, candid and beautiful pictures.
To be good, really good at something I believe that you must first have a strong desire and then enough passion to carry that through. Through life's experiences, the support of my family, and the images I view through my camera, I have found that passion and have used it to open my own photography studio right in my home. Kort Photography is positively a dream come true for me. I promise you that you will be very happy with the images of your loved ones that I provide to you and that I will capture the spirit and personality of your loved ones through photographs.
Additionally, my mother would tell you that of her five children, I was the most resistant when it was "studio picture time." Probably too rigid for me, so now I'm the one taking relaxed and carefree pictures and loving every minute of it.
